Grow things now, anything.

February 28, 2023 by Amy Le

I started my garden in 2015 after I just quit my job to be a full time stay at home mom. I was not really interested in gardening at the time but it seemed like a good idea to get the kids and I outside more.

Eight years later the kids don’t come out with me much anymore but my garden has grown from a small section of my backyard to almost the entire yard. I had no idea I would become such an avid gardener but gardening not only has provided my family with healthy delicious food it has also taught me many lessons about nature and about myself. Its hard not to become addicted to the magic of gardening.

I still don’t think that I am anywhere near a master gardener but I’m so glad that I started when I did. Now when I look at my old garden pictures I am so proud of how it has evolved. I started small and just kept on adding and adjusting every growing season.

If you’re thinking about starting a garden just do it now. You’ll be so glad you did.

Here are some pictures of how my garden has grown over the years.

Here are some of the items I have been able to harvest.
